As you can see from some of my previous photos it had suffered badly in the barn it had been shoved in. all the wood down the sides had blown out with the damp air. most of the fixtures and fittings had broken. so I decided that the best action to take was to dismantel the carriage and start again unfortunatly a lot of the panneling was beond repair so went on to the bonfire!
Right so with whats left of the gallery i have a few jobs to do....
(1)- Clean up the frame.
(2)- Replace the rear blown out tyre with a pair of solid ones.
(3)- Rigg up a better braking system
(4)- Sort out some gearing... maybe.
(5)- Re-Paint the frame.
(6)- Start the carriage construction.... thats a list of jobs its self!!!
I will post up picture of the restoration over the next few months.
